DOOR B.V. and DOOR International B.V. Join Forces Under the ‘One DOOR’ Strategy
ROTTERDAM/WIESBADEN, 12 December
DOOR was founded in 1981 in Doorn as DOOR Praktijktrainers. In the decades that followed, DOOR grew into a global player, with two key drivers of growth in size and quality: DOOR International B.V. based in Wiesbaden, Germany and DOOR B.V. based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. On December 12th, both organizations signed an agreement to strengthen their collaboration and to serve customers worldwide and locally even better under the title ‘One DOOR’.
For nearly 45 years, DOOR has been a leading player in the global Learning & Development market. With partners in dozens of countries, DOOR supports clients worldwide as well as at regional and local levels with learning, coaching and consulting solutions that deliver measurable impact and tangible results.
Since the 1990s, the international organization DOOR International B.V. has operated from Wiesbaden, Germany, while DOOR B.V., based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands has focused on the Dutch market.
Both organizations bring distinct strengths to the table:
- DOOR International B.V. with its global approach and experience serving global and regional clients.
- DOOR B.V. with its highly developed franchise model and tailored solutions such as the DOOR Academy and AI-driven applications.
Together under the DOOR Group, the combination of these strengths is expected to drive further growth in quality, innovation, and impact for clients in the coming years. For the teams in Rotterdam and Wiesbaden, this step will mainly mean higher quality standards, more challenging client projects, and increased collaboration across borders.
Joost Riphagen, CEO of DOOR Group, is extremely pleased with this development:
“This step enables us to serve our clients even better and offers our employees and entrepreneurial partners even more opportunities to grow and take on new challenges.”
Ricardo Lillo, CEO of DOOR International B.V. sees the collaboration as a clear step towards the future of learning: “This is a win for all our international clients and partners, and I am very much looking forward to working together for even greater impact.”
