The DOOR virtual Instructor–Led training (vILT) refers to training that is delivered in a virtual, simulated environment, or when instructor and learner are in separate locations. Our virtual instructor environments are designed to simulate the traditional classroom and learning experience. These training opportunities, offering chat-based instructors, provide targeted information that will enhance your team’s learning expertise.
Leveraging video and digital technology and 40+ years of learning expertise, our vILTs workshops are a robust set of virtual instructor-led training programs that replicate the experience and impact of live, in-person training.
Each DOOR vILT workshop is led by a highly skilled and passionate DOOR facilitator and consists of 2 to 4-hour sessions using video conferencing platforms. This makes the content more easily digestible and reduces time away from your day to day tasks.
Some key features of our virtual workshops include:
- Video, used by both the facilitator and all participants, to increase engagement and learning
- Interactive tools, such as polling, chats, and breakout groups, to replicate in-person small group work like group drills and role plays
- Simple, lightweight Zoom interface and home-printer friendly workbooks to make it easy for the learners to refer back after the workshop
- On-the-job assignments are given between sessions to extend the action into the flow of work and report back what they learned.
In many ways, our virtual instructor-led training reflects what we do in a live classroom. You can expect a highly qualified team of facilitators, ready to support and engage with you worldwide and in any language you wish.
